MeetMac

MeetMac is a native macOS menu bar app that shows your next calendar meeting and lets you join it with one click.

Your current or upcoming meeting sits in the macOS menu bar — “Now: Standup – 10:00”, or “Next: Design review at 14:30” — so you are never digging through a calendar app thirty seconds before a call starts.

What MeetMac does

• Keeps the right meeting in front of you. The menu bar shows the meeting happening now, or the next one coming up.
• Joins in one click. MeetMac finds the video link in an event’s location, notes, or URL field and opens it.
• Opens Zoom in the Zoom app, rather than a browser tab that has to redirect.
• Shows only the calendars you pick. Choose them in Settings; the rest stay out of the way.
• Hides meetings you don’t attend. Drop a recurring invite from the menu bar without deleting it from your calendar.
• Handles recurring events, including single occurrences that were moved.
• Speaks English and Russian.

Supported meeting services

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, GoToMeeting, and Yandex Telemost. For events on any other service, MeetMac falls back to the first link it finds in the event.

Which calendars it reads

MeetMac reads the calendars already set up on your Mac — the same ones the macOS Calendar app shows. That covers iCloud, On My Mac, subscribed calendars, and any account you have added in System Settings.

You can also connect a Google Calendar or Yandex Calendar account directly, for meetings that never sync to your Mac. That access is read-only: MeetMac asks only to view your events, never to create or change them, and uses them for a single purpose — showing the meeting in the menu bar and opening its join link. Credentials are kept in the macOS Keychain, on your own device.

There is no MeetMac server. Calendar data is never sent anywhere, and the developer cannot see it. The Privacy Policy covers this in full.
